Hiring Process
Typically, during the months of March-April, we hold our application and interviewing processing for potential teaching candidates for both the Summer Dance Program and the Fall-Spring academic year. Please call 540-810-3631 to schedule a phone and in-person interview conducted with proper physical distancing and in masks.
We ask that all applicants email dancencompany@gmail.com with your resume, including three references with their contact information.
Your references should first include someone who knows you well and is capable of speaking to your prowess as a dancer and dance teacher. We suggest you consider a person who has observed you working with children and teens in any instructional capacity. A good character reference is also helpful.
Application Process
Our application process consists of the following:
1. Receipt of resume
2. Scheduling of phone interview
3. Scheduling of in-person interview including review of contract
4. Scheduling a sample teaching session with an existing class.
(Sample teaching, the in-person interview/review of contract, and remittance of a list of references, with phone numbers and email addresses can occur at the same time.)
